When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Almost tossed this one a couple times 'cause I kept seeing Kevin Spacey dressed up as Springsteen for some kind of goofy Bruce biopic. Decided to power through it anyways for the fun and challenge of all that contrasted shading and, thankfully, now all I see is The Boss.
Inspired by his Magic album, particularly the song "Long Walk Home." 8.5" x 11." General's black & white charcoal pencils with Sanford Design Ebony graphite and kneaded eraser. November 2007. CommentsAww, thanks very much! He's one of the greats. If there was a Mount Rushmore of rock stars, he'd be on it.

I like the harsh light and shadows, that unterlines the masculin posture and works well for a person like Springsteen. You look at the picture and at once you feel the presence and you can't take your eyes off.
It's amazing how much details you added and how great they're, even the creases of the shirt look perfect. I can also see the hairs on his arm. Truly awesome. Not to mention his facial expression, he really looks like he's lost in thought.
There's only one think I don't like about the picture. At the black parts you can see the line management too clear and for me it's a bit distracting, especially in the face.
Else I have nothing to say than wow, your work is breathtaking and I would be happy to just have half as much talent as you have!
